“I’ve had the good fortune of a close relationship with Jaime and her watchful eye tending to my various musculoskeletal needs for about 18 months now. As a growing CrossFit competitor, aches and pains are typical. While increasing my training load and intensity, one would expect periodic presentations of muscle fatigue/strain/mild pain and mobility issues. Every incident, she has treated me and genuine relief has ensued. I’m writing my review today because of my most recent, acute injury and treatment from Jaime.

This past weekend at the largest comp in our state, I experienced every athletes worst fear: a severe injury right out the gate, workout #1. With 3 workouts ahead of our team, I wasn’t sure what my ability was going to look like. My entire sacral-gluteal ridge was blown out. The pain was debilitating, radiating, and breathtaking. I managed to keep warm and perform the rest of the day, but not without consequence. The next 24 hours, I could walk, but any transfer of my pelvis (i.e.: shifting in bed, getting in and out of bed, sitting/rising) required full upper body support, physical repositioning of my pelvis with upper body, and extremely thoughtful/slow movement.

Jaime treated me Sunday morning before my 2 hour drive home and it literally saved me. I have been in the least amount of pain since her treatment and am so grateful. While we still have some diagnostic work to do and I am still experiencing pain, my pain has gone from a 10 to a 5/6 and I gained some mobility, making this injury tolerable/manageable for the meantime.

My testimonial is for both her immense knowledge, experience, and success with chronic sports medicine injuries and also her gifts in treatment of severe, acute sports injuries that are incredibly distressing for athletes. I don’t know what I would have done without you Jaime. Thank you so much.”
